Workshop at Skunkworks Games
Wed, 8th December | 18:00 - 21:00 EET (GMT+02:00) (5 months ago)

This event has already taken place

Attend our workshops to learn programming in a safe and supportive environment at your own pace, or to share your knowledge and coach our students.

NOTE: Due to regulations, we must ask for a Corona pass for you to enter the event. Wearing masks is mandatory this time.

codebar workshops are not like many other tech learning events you've tried before!

Are you considering being a coach?

You'd be helping individuals from currently underrepresented groups to get to know programming & tech overall. Some students come with a project, while others might not have an idea of where to start. Experienced coaches and organisers are there to help you get started though! All of our coaches are volunteers but we provide pizza and often drinks to thank you for your time and effort. As a coach you would be working together with 1-3 students that are interested in a similar topic or have a similar level of experience.

Are you considering joining as a student?

We start out by asking what you want to learn and what you want to understand better. That way, we can pair you up with a coach that knows the area. For 2.5-3 hours of the workshop, it's your time to ask anything you don't understand fully or want help with! If you are a complete beginner, you can learn where to start and align your interests with technologies you could potentially learn.

Hope to see you soon!
